CORES Corporación de Reservas Estratégicas de Productos Petrolíferos

Cores, Corporación de Derecho Público sin ánimo de lucro y tutelada por el Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico, es la Entidad Central de Almacenamiento de España. Contribuye a garantizar la seguridad de suministro de hidrocarburos mediante el mantenimiento de reservas estratégicas, el control de las existencias que mantiene la industria y el control de la diversificación de gas natural, con nuevas funciones relativas al cumplimiento en biocarburantes y su sostenibilidad. Cores es, además, agente estadístico del sector de hidrocarburos, colaborando con la Administración en el reporte a organismos internacionales. Cores, a non-profit Public Law Corporation under the aegis of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, is the Spanish Central Stockholding Entity. It contributes to guaranteeing the security of hydrocarbon supply through the maintenance of strategic reserves, the control of minimum security reserves maintained by the industry and the control of natural gas diversification, with new functions related to biofuel compliance and their sustainability. Cores is also a statistical agent in the Spanish hydrocarbon sector, collaborating with the Administration in reporting to international organizations.
