Crisis Services of North Alabama is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate and compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crises in North Alabama. Located in Huntsville, Alabama, we operate a 24/7 HELPline offering crisis counseling, manage the area’s 211 service connecting people to vital resources, and offer emergency shelter, forensic exams, and advocacy services. We serve Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan counties, with sexual assault forensic exams provided in Cullman and Winston counties. Our commitment is to offer these critical services at no cost to survivors, ensuring access to safety, healing, and a path toward recovery. With a dedicated team of trained professionals and volunteers, we are a trusted resource for those facing challenging circumstances, providing a lifeline of support and hope. Founded in 1971, Crisis Services of North Alabama has grown to serve over 58 staff members and has a significant impact on the community, responding to over 465 individuals annually.
