Cybersecurity Club at Florida State University

The Cybersecurity Club at Florida State University is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices within the Tallahassee, Florida area. We provide a supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds – including IT, ICT, CompSci, and MIS – to develop their skills through weekly discussions, recruitment opportunities, and participation in cyber attack/defense competitions. As a recognized entity within Florida State University’s Computer Science Department, we contribute to a vibrant research ecosystem, leveraging significant external funding from agencies like the National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense.

Our club actively supports the Center for Security and Assurance in IT (C-SAIT), furthering FSU’s designation as a National Security Agency (NSA) Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research. We are committed to cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
