Deep Blue Medical Advances, Inc is a Durham, North Carolina-based medical device company focused on transforming soft tissue surgery. We develop and commercialize innovative hernia repair solutions, addressing the significant challenge of hernia recurrence rates and the associated high clinical and economic burden. Our core technology, the T-Line® Hernia Mesh, offers superior anchor strength and reduces the risk of mesh fixation failure, ultimately improving patient outcomes. We are committed to providing surgeons with a safer, more reliable surgical experience. Founded in 2015 as a Duke University spin-out, Deep Blue Medical Advances is dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and minimizing complications.

Our approach centers on a surgeon-invented design that eliminates a key point of failure – the interface between mesh, suture, and tissue.
