Denver International Petroleum Society (DIPS)

DIPS was formed 28 years ago to help share knowledge between individuals who have international petroleum industry experience and those that want to learn about it. It’s a great group of oil and gas industry members. Members typically have worked on international projects, however, all are welcome and encouraged to join us. Our goal for our lunches is to have our guest speakers provide a broad scope/regional nature to topics related to the international oil and gas industry. This focus is different when compared with more focused talks at domestic forums. Most of the topics are geoscience and engineering related. They are diverse and demonstrate greater challenges in oil and gas exploration than are observed in domestic conventional and unconventional plays. It's a great way to learn about international politics and how that plays into worldwide oil and gas exploration.
