CSU East Bay's MS in Accountancy Program is a high quality accounting program that prepares students to become a CPA and to pursue a successful accounting career in public accounting, corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations. Program Highlights: •17-month cohort-based program. • Weekend schedules ideal for working professionals. • Provides 24 semester units of Accounting Subjects required for the CPA exam. • Provides both the 20 semester units of Accounting Study and 10 semester units of the Ethics Study to satisfy the 30 semester units required for the CPA licensure in California. • Curriculum features US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs.) • Special features: Cutting Edge Data Analytics applied in accounting & audit, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for accounting processes, Machine Learning and Forecasting, Business Planning and Analysis tools, Fraud Exam & Forensic Accounting elective courses. Students with a baccalaureate degree in any subject from an accredited college or university may apply. Work experience is desirable, but not required.
