Diversity in Dermatology

Diversity in Dermatology is a Florida-based partnership dedicated to advancing dermatology education and cultural competency for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.

We provide specialized educational programs, including the Skintegrative Series and Dermoscopy Certification Course, designed to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to deliver inclusive and effective care to diverse patient populations. Our focus extends to topics such as skin of color, multicultural practices, pediatric dermatology, and transgender medicine, fostering a more equitable and understanding healthcare system.

Diversity in Dermatology’s mission is to bring a diversified approach to education, community outreach, cultural competency, philanthropy, as well as giving healthcare providers the tools to diversify their personal and professional lives. We are committed to fostering a supportive community of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes and promoting diversity within the field.

Founded in 2020, Diversity in Dermatology has quickly become a trusted resource for dermatological professionals seeking to expand their knowledge and enhance their practice. We are proud to host the annual Collaborative Care Summit and offer a range of educational resources to our members.
