Dundreggan Rewilding Centre is a pioneering visitor attraction and rewilding estate located in the Scottish Highlands, operated by Trees for Life. We offer a unique opportunity to explore ancient pinewood and juniper forest, immerse yourself in centuries of Gaelic culture, and witness the transformative power of rewilding firsthand. Established as the first visitor attraction of its kind, Dundreggan provides a gateway to a vast estate undergoing regeneration, recovering from centuries of grazing damage.

Through the dedicated efforts of Trees for Life and generous donors, we’ve expanded vital fragments of Scotland’s Caledonian forest, now supporting over 4,000 species of plants and animals, including iconic species like golden eagles and black grouse. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, from guided walks and wildlife spotting to hands-on workshops and comfortable accommodation at An Spiris. Located just eight miles from Loch Ness, Dundreggan is a destination for nature lovers, conservation enthusiasts, and those seeking an authentic Highland experience.
