The Durham Parks Foundation was founded in 2015 to facilitate public/private partnerships for Durham Parks and Recreation. We are a volunteer-led organization that provides fundraising, helps publicize future projects, and advocates for the expansion, accessibility, and improvement of Durham’s open spaces.
Our mission is to make spaces for all of us, and we are grateful for the support of our community.
We are thankful for so many things. The great parks and trails Durham has to offer. The wonderful residents who voted to improve those parks, and the amazing staff at @dprplaymore who dedicate their time and energy to making these parks welcoming for us all.
