East Coast Greenway Alliance

East Coast Greenway Alliance is a nonprofit organization based in Durham, North Carolina, dedicated to developing a nationally connected, locally rooted trail for safe active transportation and recreation.

We’re working to transform the Eastern Seaboard by creating the East Coast Greenway, a 3,000-mile linear park connecting Maine to Florida. This ambitious project will link 15 states and 450 communities, fostering active transportation, boosting local economies, and promoting healthy, sustainable lifestyles.

The East Coast Greenway Alliance partners with communities from planning through ribbon cuttings to bring new trail segments to life, turning bold visions into new miles of the Greenway. We’ve already completed 65% of the route and are committed to reaching our goal of 100% completion.

Our impact extends beyond just trail construction; we leverage every dollar donated to generate $100 in public infrastructure investment, ensuring the Greenway’s long-term success.
