Overview
East Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadets Association is a vital organization dedicated to supporting and enabling Reserve Forces and Cadets, as well as their Forces-friendly employers, across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, and Rutland. Established in 1908, we champion the invaluable contributions of the Armed Forces community and provide essential logistical support to Cadet activities. Our Estates division manages 135 Army Reserve Centres and Cadet Centres, offering versatile venues for meetings, sports, and events, reinvesting all revenue directly back into the benefit of Reserves and Cadets.
Through our Engagement pillar, we foster strong relationships with businesses and organizations, promoting the Armed Forces Covenant and Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. As one of 13 Reserve Forces and Cadets Associations in the UK, we work closely with the Defence Council, Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force. We are proud to be a key part of a network of over 1,100 organizations in the East Midlands who are committed to supporting our Armed Forces community.
Our volunteer members, representing diverse sectors, play a crucial role in raising awareness and celebrating the achievements of Cadet Volunteers. We are committed to providing a supportive environment for those who serve and their families, ensuring they are never disadvantaged by their service.
