Eastern Aleutian Tribes

Eastern Aleutian Tribes is a vital healthcare provider serving the remote communities of Adak, Akutan, Cold Bay, False Pass, King Cove, Nelson Lagoon, Sand Point, St. George, and Whittier in the Aleutian Islands and Alaska Peninsula.

Established in 1991 as a collaboration between seven Aleut tribes, EAT delivers comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to over 100,000 square miles of challenging terrain.

We are dedicated to patient-centered care, prioritizing the unique needs and values of our community members. Our commitment extends to providing accessible and culturally sensitive healthcare services, supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

EAT’s operations are overseen by a Board of Directors and led by a Chief Executive Officer, ensuring continued service to the region’s residents. We receive funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and maintain Federal Public Health Service deemed status.
