The EDGAR SRL is an innovative startup born from the founders of two projects in tourism industry. On the one hand, the core team of Guide Me Right, on the other one of 1000 Italy: two startups that aimed to bring authentic Italy to light, involving experts and enthusiasts throughout the country. EDGAR is the operating group in tourism sector and, to date, it includes two different products: - Guide Me Right: the marketplace of experiences that since 2014 has facilitated and moderated the meeting between Guests, curious travellers, and Local Friends, local people who share their interests by offering activities through the website. Today, Guide Me Right also gathers service providers for travellers and "local tips"​ given by local experts and professionals; - Edgar Smart Concierge: the digital concierge that allows travellers to satisfy all needs before, during and after their stay using just an App on their Smartphone. All affiliated accommodations can create their own App to download to their customers, who can discover and book internal and external services to the accommodation either independently or with the digital support of their facility on App. With Edgar Smart Concierge, managers of accommodations, on the one hand, can increase revenues by increasing the productivity of each customer and, on the other hand, to improve the quality of service and the satisfaction of the guest by transforming it into positive reviews for their structure. The EDGAR team therefore uses its tourism and digital experience to make it available to the major players in tourism industry, those facilities that want to take advantage of technology to return to play a central role in the relationship with a traveller who is always more digital and in search of authentic and customized experiences.
