At Entrepreneur Business School we believe that anyone with a unique business idea can become a successful entrepreneur, but a good idea and a desire to start a business are just the beginning. In recent years there has been a marked increase in university, college and online courses with 'entrepreneurship' in the title. These 'textbook' courses cover the general management principles of running a business. Generally delivered by academics, they don't prepare budding entrepreneurs for the hands-on day-to-day realities of starting and funding a new business. Entrepreneur Business School offers entrepreneurial training with a difference. We are a network of successful business leaders. Each of us has started and grown several new technology businesses, raised equity investment and led our companies through a significant corporate event. We are active in businesses across diverse industries and global markets. We use our experience, knowledge and expertise to help others navigate the challenges and pitfalls encountered by new entrepreneurs. We provide practical training and mentoring that is informed by our extensive experience of creating and exiting both startups and university spinouts. We have worked with over 300 individuals of which, just over half went on to incorporate a business. A staggering 92% of them are still trading. Compare this with the UK national startup failure rate of 50%. Moreover, these businesses have raised over £100m in investment.
