The present research project of the Agricultural Cooperatives Union of Aeghion (ACUA) aims to study the effect of the Corinthian Raisin biotype, environmental conditions (altitude, temperature, etc.) and cultivation practices (pruning, scarification, etc.) on the phenomenon of nucleation (percentage of ripened berries) and on the fertility of dormant buds. Within the framework of the project, various cultivation techniques are applied and the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the grapes and berries of the biotypes under study are determined, as well as the antioxidant content of the raisins produced. The good cultivation practices as well as the results that will result from the project will be available to raisin growers for the improvement of the final product.
