We see ourselves as a guide through an increasingly complex set of conflicting priorities. Brokers and Asset Managers are facing the double edged sword of snowballing regulatory compliance and fragmented liquidity. This combination has inevitably led to increasingly complex trading systems with seemingly identical but often very different functionality and vastly different costs, some detailed, explicit and up front, many somewhat beneath the surface. Understanding these differences consumes resources and management time in unremittingly increasing quantities. In this environment virtually nobody (with a full time job) can be an expert in all camps. Our role is to provide advice to “C level” management and Heads of Trading on the technologies and structures required to combine “best in class” execution with the most appropriate systems, leading to increased efficiency, more robust regulatory compliance and a clearer idea on the true costs of implementation.
