Our Vision Solar is the most economical way to generate electricity in ‘sunbelt’ countries, and will be so all across the globe in the coming decades. Therefore, in energy investments, solar will be dominant. There are two large trends: First, a race down the experience curve drives efforts in R&D and module manufacturing to enable the maximum potential of solar modules and second: the downstream market is maturing. To cope with the margin pressure, knowledge on performance degradation will gain importance.
