Euro Company

Established in 1979, Euro Company has been producing, selecting and selling nuts and dried fruit in Godo di Russi, in the real heart of Italy, in Emilia-Romagna. During the past 40 years the community has steadily grown, up until today’s over 400 employees. With a sales volume amounting to over € 110 million in 2019, Euro Company plays a key role in the Italian market, in that it focuses its business on nuts and dried fruit and is committed in the reduction of the handling of raw materials to the bare essentials. Euro Company’s vision is that of being a benchmark for a sustainable nutrition by placing people’s health, the Earth and the respect for people at the centre with the ultimate purpose of influencing the entire food industry. Besides paying great attention to issues linked to the environment and to sustainability, Euro Company invests in renewable energies, which cover 100% of the company’s energy requirement, as well as in the minimization of packaging waste and in the development of more sustainable packaging for the safeguard of the planet. Since 2018 Euro Company has become a Benefit Corporation, in that it is committed in the protection of its Mission and in the pursuit of one or more common benefit purposes in addition to profit-making; in 2019 Euro Company obtained the certification of the B Corporation Movement, i.e. the highest standard for the evaluation of the impact of business. Such tool proves to be useful not only in the measurement of actions and of the business model, but also in the sharing of areas of improvement with the management and the community in order to set ever more new and challenging goals.
