Euroweb Romania is a major ICT service provider in the Romanian enterprise telecommunications industry. Launched in 1998 when Euroweb International took over Internet Rokura Sumitcom Division and Mediator S.A., Euroweb Romania is the founding member of A.N.I.S.P. (National Association of Internet Service providers) and also the the initiator of RoNIX (Romanian Network for Internet eXchange) project. Since 2010 the main shareholder of Euroweb Romania is Turk Telekom International Holdings BV, part of Turk Telekom group. Turk Telekom owns the largest telecommunications infrastructure in South East Europe and Asia Minor, bringing together brands such Euroweb, TTNET, Argela, Innova, Sebit, AssisTT. Turk Telekom is listed at the Istanbul Stock Exchange under the TTKOM indicative.
