“TAILOR-MADE” DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENTS, with special dedication to AIR HANDLING UNITS, it is EVAC’s main activity since it was founded in 1984 by Mr Zeferino Lapa (mechanical engineer). Besides Portugal, EVAC is present since 1996 in the markets of EUROPE, SOUTH AMERICA and, NORTH AFRICA. For many years EVAC is perfectly established in these important markets. This experience gives EVAC the ability to work with different cultures and climates, different types of equipments and technical teams, different logistics and even different policies and regulations. EVAC joins the EUROVENT Commission for the Certification of Air Handling Units in 1998. The following year it obtains its certification of its UTA range and becomes one of the first European manufacturers certified by EUROVENT. EVAC remains an active participant of EUROVENT as a member of the Air Handling Units Product Group, PG-AHU. Since 2001, EVAC has its QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM implemented and certified by standard ISO 9001. In 2015, the German laboratory TÜV NORD awarded the HYGIENIC CERTIFICATION to the UTA-H version, which puts EVAC in a narrow group of manufacturers that holds this prestigious certificate. EVAC’s activity has always been based on solid technical engineering knowledge. All its products and equipments are developed, designed and manufactured internally.
