Overview

EventStorming is a family of workshop formats (created by Alberto Brandolini) designed around the principle of collaborative exploration around a timeline. Events are the building blocks of a collective storytelling, and some facilitation tricks allow the exploring and visualizing complex processes in a relatively short amount of time. Common formats and scopes The most common formats for EventStorming are the following. - Big Picture with no upfront scope limitation, usually drilling into inconsistencies in collaboration between silos, and discovery of opportunities to enhance value and reduce frictions. - Process modelling enforces a more precise grammar, to highlight decision points along the flow. This allows a cross-functional collaborative design activity without getting displaced by technical discussions. The scope is usually an entire end - Software design introduces technical elements to the process modelling grammar, allowing a more technically oriented discussion without losing the other side of the discussion. The approach can be applied on existing business and processes as well as on entirely new ones. We provide remote Strategic Facilitation, Process Modelling Facilitation, EventStorming training.
