Founded in 2014, Evolutionary Films is a UK based film and TV production company, international sales agent and UK distributor with a focus on delivering bold and original stories for a global audience. Evolutionary has produced and distributed over 50 commercial and award-winning films and TV shows including the six-part crime thriller CURFEW starring Sarah Parish, Mandip Gill and Alexandra Burke for Paramount+, the smash hit action series I AM VENGEANCE and I AM VENGEANCE RETALIATION that topped streamer charts globally, the critically acclaimed Beatles origins documentaries GET BACK and LOOKING FOR LENNON for Sky Arts, and Irvine Welsh’s cult comedy hit THE MAGNIFICENT ELEVEN. The Evolutionary team are hands on producers with hundreds of production credits and include a BAFTA winning producer and a GREAT Britain campaign Ambassador. They have delivered content to all the major streamers, broadcasters and studios including Netflix, HBO, Universal, Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, Nat Geo, Amazon, Paramount+ and Sky. A member of the UK screen sector trade body Pact, Evolutionary has been given authority to issue UK Government backed shares on multiple occasions and has regularly received funding from the BFI. As well as receiving numerous awards and nominations for work on individual film and TV productions, Evolutionary has twice won the Best Film Distributor award at the National Film Awards (2019 and 2021) and was nominated for two awards at the prestigious Screen Awards in 2019 - Best International Sales Deal For A UK Film and Distributor of the Year.
