FAB Aluminum Foundry of Braga

FAB - Aluminum Foundry of Braga is a specialist in casting and machining of aluminum parts from 20gr up to 400 kg, trough the moulding methods Gravity Chemical sand casting and Gravity Die Casting. FAB reestablished the foundry activity of the old company ALBRA and developed a modern business project, mostly oriented to external markets and based on differentiated products of added value. FAB uses modern production technologies, leveraging the knowledge of decades. In 2016, FAB started a project included in the Portugal 2020 program for Productive Innovation. This project focuses on the modernization of equipment, introduction of technological innovations, quality control and production management. In the beginning of 2017 FAB was acquired by three entrepreneurs with huge industrial experience, particularly in the foundry area. FAB's mission is to develop, produce and supply high-quality aluminum castings manufactured in an environmentally responsible manner, ensuring customer satisfaction, value creation and business sustainability. FAB aims to be an international reference, with a focus on full-cast aluminum casting, from design optimization, moulding and prototyping to surface heat treatment using the most advanced technologies and requirements.
