Overview

At FairQuid we believe everyone should have access to fair financial products. We are a platform that challenges the inherent discrimination around access and cost within the industry. We want to break the cycle of debt and foster a strong habit of personal savings and financial fitness. We know that 46% of UK employees struggle with their finances and the average UK household debt (not including mortgages) is £8,000. Over 16 million people don’t have £100 in savings and this lack of savings keeps them in a cycle of debt which is hard to break. Employees bring this stress to the workplace which leads to lower productivity, decreased engagement and higher attrition. So what can be done? We have come up with two ways to combat this. We use the length of service and performance of the employee replacing their Credit Score to assess eligibility. To break the cycle of debt, a strong habit of saving is essential. Therefore we offer employees the possibility to, Save with a Purpose, with our partner Credit Unions. When a loan is taken out through the FairQuid platform we also nudge employees to, Save as you Borrow, to promote positive behaviour for the future. If you’re an employer looking to implement a workplace benefit that really matters, join our movement! Let’s make a positive impact, one employee at a time!
