Family Promise of Knoxville is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to ending family homelessness in Knox County, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. Since 2005, we’ve provided a lifeline to hundreds of families with children experiencing housing instability, connecting them with over 1500 dedicated volunteers from more than 40 faith-based churches. Our four core programs – Eviction Prevention & Shelter Diversion, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Stabilization – offer a 90-day pathway to sustainable independence, combining safe shelter, nutritious meals, and comprehensive support services. We empower parents to achieve their dream of homeownership while fostering a trauma-informed environment that prioritizes family unity.
