FaunaPhotonics

FaunaPhotonics' insect sensor technology is designed to remotely count and classify insect species for improved decision support. The collected data can provide insights into pollinators in an area and at specific times and prove the effect of interventions on biodiversity. Additionally, the technology platform automates manual processes optimising crop scouting processes in agriculture. FaunaPhotonics was founded in 2014, when the optical hardware concept was spun out of Lund University Laser Center.
