FIFEC - Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee

FIFEC is a nonprofit organization based in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to providing insurance fraud education and training to SIU professionals and law enforcement. Established in 1992 as a joint effort between the Florida Division of Investigative and Forensic Services (DIFS) and Special Investigation Units (SIU) of the Insurance Industry, FIFEC has grown to over 1,000 attendees annually. Our core mission is to facilitate communication and collaboration within the insurance fraud investigation community, offering a comprehensive program of classes, workshops, and networking opportunities.

We provide valuable training in insurance fraud investigation techniques, leveraging over 65+ classes and the expertise of 75+ speakers. FIFEC’s legacy is built on decades of fostering a strong partnership between public and private sectors, contributing significantly to the ongoing fight against insurance fraud in Florida. We host an annual conference, golf tournament, and offer continuing education units (CLE/CEUs).
