Findling, Inc. is an engineering consulting firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, and environmental engineering. Our company was established in 1997. We have seven drill rigs; three All Train Vehicle (ATV), two truck mounted, one skid and one tripod, to conduct geotechnical and environmental drilling. Currently, we have over twenty five employees. Most of our employees are assigned in the field performing construction inspection services on major highways, buildings, streets, dams and hazardous waste sites. Our inspectors possess certification to inspect and test soils, concrete and asphalt from Maryland State Highways and other agencies. Our employees have also attended the 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER safety seminar to work at hazardous waste sites (1610.120).
We have a well equipped soil and concrete laboratory that is accredited by the AASHTO Material Reference Laboratory (AMRL). Our laboratory is equipped with a 300,000 lb Test Mark Digital Compressive Strength machine, Atterberg Limit devices, Sieve Shakers, Consolidometers, CBR and Unconfined Compression testing machines and Digital Scales. All equipment and devices are calibrated according to the AMRL requirements. We also participant in the Proficiency Sample Program offered by AMRL. In addition we own nuclear density gauges for field compaction tests.
