S.p.A. and is invested with the collection of local taxes such as ICI (property tax), ICP (advertising tax), TOSAP (occupation of public spaces), TARSU. The company's majority shareholder is the City of Fiumicino (Rome), Italy with the partecipation of M.T. S.p.A. ( www.maggioli.it/uk/gestione-entrate.php ), and operates under authority of the city government & the Ministry of Finance and it's primary mission is to combat tax evasion. It's role is also to improve efficiency, innovation and transparency in the management of all local taxes, fees, sanctions and traffic fines. With the help of technologies such as data mining, business intelligence, & geographical information systems, the company has recovered millions of Euros in back taxes (evasion) and greatly increased the annual tax revenue for the citty. The company also IT & administrative functions for traffic violations in close cooperation with the City Police department.
