Florida State College of Law Black Alumni Network

The Florida State University College of Law Black Alumni Network (the "Network") is a dedicated organization committed to empowering and supporting Black students, alumni, faculty, and staff of the Florida State University College of Law. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, the Network champions diversity and inclusion within the legal profession and at the College of Law itself. It achieves this through targeted initiatives including advocating for a name change that honors Black contributions to the College of Law's history, providing direct support through recruitment, scholarships, and retention programs, and fostering networking opportunities. With a growing network of influential alumni, the BAN actively collaborates with the College of Law to address systemic inequities and promote a more equitable legal landscape. The Network’s commitment to fostering a supportive community and driving impactful change positions it as a vital resource for the College of Law and the broader legal community.
