Fore the Kids Kansas City is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Overland Park, Kansas, committed to improving the mental well-being of children in the Kansas City area. For nearly two decades, we’ve been a vital supporter of Children’s Mercy, providing crucial resources and funding for innovative treatments and research. Our mission is to foster a community where all youth have equitable access to mental health care through awareness, advocacy, and support for accessible, high-quality services. We actively champion initiatives like integrating behavioral health into primary care, supporting research into precision dosing for mental health medication, and partnering with organizations such as The Children’s Place of Kansas City and Illuminate with Children’s Mercy. By uniting individuals through monthly donations – our ‘Everyday Champions’ program – we’re able to significantly impact the lives of children facing mental health challenges, offering hope and support during difficult times. We believe every child deserves a chance to smile, and we’re proud to be a driving force in making that a reality.
