Freedom Ride

Freedom Ride is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization located in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to enriching the lives and experiences of children and adults with disabilities. Founded in 1998, Freedom Ride provides therapeutic horseback riding and ground-based equine-facilitated learning activities to individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, autism, and multiple sclerosis.

We serve the Central Florida area, offering a unique and impactful program that fosters physical strength, balance, and coordination while promoting emotional growth and confidence.

What sets Freedom Ride apart is our commitment to providing accessible and inclusive equine therapy, combined with a dedicated team of experienced PATH International Certified Instructors, Equine Specialists, and compassionate volunteers. We are proud to be a Premier Accredited PATH International facility, offering a safe and supportive environment for participants to thrive.

Through our programs, including therapeutic horseback riding, mental wellness initiatives, and veteran support services, Freedom Ride makes a lasting difference in the lives of our community members and their families.
