FRIEM has been operating in the global power converters market with expertise and reliability for over 70 years and is among the top four global players in the high-power rectifiers industry. In more than seventy years, our industrial know-how has grown together with experience, reliability, and technological innovation. Today, with extensive experience in chlor-alkali applications, we produce high-quality converters for electrolytic hydrogen production processes. We play a central role in the green hydrogen supply chain. We serve as a bridge between renewable energy sources and end-users in both Power to Gas and Gas to Power processes. In April 2022, Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR entered FRIEM’s capital through the FITEC fund (Fondo Italiano Tecnologia e Crescita) with a minority share, to accelerates growth and investments. FRIEM is an international group with offices, workshops, and representatives across five continents. Our headquarters are located in Segrate (Milan) in a modern building which covers a surface area of approximately 11,000 m2, of which 4,000 m2 are represented by the production plant and over 2,000 m2 of offices and laboratories dedicated to design, research and development activities.
