FSAE Electric Racing at UC Irvine

FSAE Electric Racing at UC Irvine is a student-led engineering senior design project at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). We design and build electric race cars for the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) collegiate design competition series. Our team, comprised of students from diverse engineering backgrounds – including mechanical, aerospace, and electrical – focuses on innovation in electric vehicle technology. We provide a hands-on learning environment for students to develop critical skills in design, manufacturing, and testing. Founded in 2012, Anteater Racing offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and contribute to the advancement of electric vehicle technology.

We tackle complex engineering challenges, pushing the boundaries of performance and efficiency. Our work directly contributes to the development of sustainable transportation solutions.
