Gateway Youth Development Program is a leading transitional independent living program in Toledo, Ohio, dedicated to supporting youth and young adults who have experienced foster care, juvenile justice involvement, or other challenging circumstances.

We provide a safe and supportive home environment, offering comprehensive services designed to address the mental, physical, social, and educational needs of our residents. Our focus is on empowering these young people to build stable futures and achieve lasting independence.

Gateway Youth Development Program utilizes a trauma-informed approach, incorporating behavioral health services, education & career development, and life skills coaching to prevent risk behaviors and improve social-emotional outcomes. We are committed to providing 24hr. medical staff and a pathway to opportunity for those who need it most.

Founded in 2018, we serve a vital role in the community, supporting over 50 residents annually and fostering positive change through residential treatment and outpatient services.
