GFBiochemicals is a biochemical company that specializes in the research, development, production and business development of bio-based and renewable chemicals. We provide high-quality, bio-based chemicals to businesses across the world. Our focus is green chemistry – a sustainable alternative to traditional oil-based chemistry. Our technology is proprietary and has been developed in-house over many years. GFBiochemicals is headquartered in Paris, France and has subsidiaries in Geleen, the Netherlands and Minneapolis, USA. GFBiochemicals acquired Segetis, in 2016, as part of our growth strategy to integrate further in the downstream value chain of levulinic acid. After years of research and development, we started production of levulinate based biosolvents in 2018, by our Joint Venture Company, NXTLEVVEL Biochem (www.nxtlevvel.com).
