The GINKGO tree has been living on this planet for more than 300 million years - it stands for longterm success and as it has been adopting to very different conditions, it is my favorite symbol for steady transformation. My goal with Ginkgo Ventures are the following two: 1. Investing in relevant start-ups in pre-seed oder seed stage and fostering their success by leveraging my personal experience as a serial entrepreneur as well as my network. Main investment criteria are all three dimensions of sustainability (ecological, economical and social) and application of latest suitable technology to solve relevant problems of humans. 2. Sharing my experience, collected within 13 years of working and leading in innovation and transformation of products, services and organizations. Having worked in the field of innovative internal combustion engines for the world's biggest car company I know about the processes and mechanisms prevailing in big corporations. Having also built up and led Audi Denkwerkstatt - the intrapreneurship program to create digital products and services in the field of mobility and as a by product transforming Audi's working culture - I also know about the challenges of going far beyond the core business. Audi Denkwerkstatt has been awarded for being "Germany's best Innovation Lab" in 2019 and 2020 by Infront Consulting and Capital business magazine. During 4,5 years of building up and leading Denkwerkstatt, I learned a lot, which I want to share with others, who face similar challenges.
