Gishty addresses this gap. Gishty is an editorial platform for curated, context-rich coverage of Asia, Africa, and the Americas (the Global Majority), beyond Western journalistic defaults. It’s born out of journalist Sham Jaff's long-running newsletter "What Happened Last Week", and it now functions as its publishing home.
