Glasgow Wood is a Glasgow-based social enterprise and charity dedicated to crafting high-quality, ethically sourced furniture and offering sustainable timber solutions. Established in 2007, we transform reclaimed timber – diverting it from landfill and reducing carbon emissions – into beautiful indoor and outdoor pieces for homes and businesses. Our core mission is to create employment, volunteering, and training opportunities within the local community, fostering a more sustainable and inclusive environment. We are part of the nationwide Network of Community Wood Recyclers (NCWRP), actively contributing to a circular economy and combating climate change through responsible wood management. Glasgow Wood provides a competitive wood collection service, helping businesses and individuals responsibly manage their waste timber, and offers bespoke design services for unique projects. We’re proud to be a Social Enterprise and Charity, committed to preventing wood from going to landfill and empowering individuals through valuable skills development.
