As well as buying unwanted and scrap gold, silver, platinum and palladium, Gold-Traders staff have a combined 80 years of numismatic knowledge. We are able to accurately identify and value rare and collectible coins from ancient Roman metal detectorist finds to modern Royal Mint commemorative issues. Where necessary, we consult with freelance experts who also provide their services to institutions like The British Museum. Since we launched Gold Traders, gold prices have increased and the 'cash for gold' marketplace has become increasingly crowded. If you're selling precious metals you've now got a wide range of companies to choose from, but there's a few things we do differently: 1. First, we share live prices through our site so you know exactly what we'll pay for your gold 2. Second, we don't offer 'free' postal bags. The companies that offer these are some of the worst payers in the industry. 3. Most importantly, we typically pay in excess of 90% of the precious metal value (compared to our competitors who pay between 40% and 60%) In addition to our postal service we also operate a secure counter at our premises in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire.
