Green Action Trust

Green Action Trust is a leading environmental regeneration charity based in Stepps, Scotland, dedicated to translating environmental policy into tangible, landscape-scale change. We specialize in delivering bespoke project solutions for the Scottish Government and a diverse range of partners – including local authorities, landowners, and community groups – to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental inequality. With nearly 40 years of experience, we focus on urban greenspace creation, woodland and forestry management, the repurposing of vacant and derelict land, and the development of green active travel networks.

Our expertise extends to habitat and biodiversity restoration, sustainable water management, and peatland restoration, all underpinned by robust contract and grant management. We work collaboratively to create more sustainable communities and a greener Scotland, aligning projects with national policy and securing funding to maximize long-term impact. We are proud to be a key delivery partner for the Central Scotland Green Network, one of Europe’s largest green infrastructure initiatives.
