Halogen Communications is an independent communications consultancy based in Edinburgh, Scotland with an international office in Washington D.C., USA. The agency was founded in 2002, by John Crawford and Raymond Robertson, and has quickly become established as one of Scotland’s leading consultancies specialising in public relations, political relations and stakeholder management, crisis management, media training, event management and strategic marketing. Our team has unrivaled experience in politics and the media, and includes a former Scottish Office Minister, a former senior civil servant, a leading QC, as well as experts in journalism and policy, working with clients such as Nestlé, Airbnb, Philip Morris International, Salmon Property, Airbus, Wm Morrison plc and City of Glasgow College. Halogen’s vision is to build and protect reputations, locally and nationally, and develop new opportunities for clients through profile raising and political relations work. Now working across two continents, with the addition of our new US office, we seek to promote the interests of Scottish business on the world stage and to highlight Scotland to companies and organisations overseas, as a business and cultural destination.
