Hälssen & Lyon GmbH

Hälssen & Lyon is one of Europe's leading tea companies. Our rich history began in Hamburg in 1879. It was then that our company´s founders, Alfred Moritz Lyon and Gustav Vincent Hälssen, established our tea trading business. Today, we are an internationally active family business that combines a spirit of innovation with a sense of tradition. For us, everything revolves around the multifaceted product that is tea, and our expertise spans the entire value chain: from carefully sourcing of the finest raw materials from around the world, to the artfully blending, refining, flavouring and packaging them. We specialise in premium teas, exquisite tea specialities and tea-like products such as fruit and herbal blends that meet the highest quality standards. With our extensive range, which also includes tea extracts, instant powder blends and freshly brewed iced teas, we create unique moments of enjoyment for our B2B customers in a wide variety of markets and cultures. Our customer base is as diverse as our product range and includes tea brands, private label customers, specialist tea retailers, the food service sector and the beverage industry. Our employees contribute to the continuous development of our products, our mission and our company with their expertise and ethusiasm. Become part of the fascinating world of tea! Based either at our historic headquarters in Hamburg's Speicherstadt or at our large factory in Hamburg Allermöhe, we provide an inspiring environment in which you can develop your skills and pursue your passion for tea.
