Hayti (pronounced "HAY-tie")

Hayti is a Durham, North Carolina-based technology company specializing in news and podcast aggregation. We’ve developed the Hayti app, the first Black-owned news and podcast aggregation platform available on both iOS and Android, designed to combat algorithmic bias and amplify underrepresented Black voices.

Hayti delivers a centralized feed of over 100 Black publishers and 3,000 Black podcasters, offering users a curated selection of news, videos, and podcasts covering diverse topics including social justice, entertainment, and culture.

Our platform empowers Black creators and provides a vital resource for individuals seeking diverse perspectives and information. We are committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable media landscape through technology.

Founded in 2020, Hayti currently employs 17 individuals and is rapidly expanding its reach, connecting users with a wealth of Black-led content. We are dedicated to building a stronger, more representative media ecosystem.
