Originally founded in 1990 as HCC Hanseatic Coal & Coke Trading GmbH , we predominantly specialized in the trade of solid fuels for the energy market. The reformulated aim of climate policy during the EU / UN climate conference in 2021 provide for coal phase-out. We also faced this new challenge: Expanding our portfolio in sectors like biomass, raw materials in general and byproducts for the cement industry, we initiated the transformation from coal to other commodities. As a reliable partner and the reputation we gained throughout the years in the electricity market, the steel- , cement- and paper industry we offer individual solutions to our customers. Our multilingual employees form the basis for our global sourcing and the main emphasis of marketing in European markets.
