Heimdal builds machines that permanently capture and store atmospheric CO2 and stabilize the oceans. Every year, 40 billion tonnes of CO2 are released into the atmosphere. One-third of the CO2 is absorbed by the ocean, increasing its acidity and harming marine life. We use renewable energy to extract the acidic parts of seawater, allowing more CO2 to be removed from the atmosphere and restoring stability to the world’s oceans. We’re building a scalable solution that provides the lowest cost of direct air carbon capture on Earth.
