Hellenic MPSOTC (Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center)

Hellenic MPSOTC is a Training Center of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff. It has been officially recognized by NATO as a PfP Training Center since May 2000 and is a vital part of the PTEC Community. Training fully complies with the most recent internationally accepted standards, supported by NATO Quality Assurance Policy. MPSOTC has Unconditional Quality Assurance Certification by NATO ACT for its training programs. Furthermore, it is certified by the UN and conducts the UN Military Observers’ Course. As a partner of the European Security and Defence College, it delivers courses regarding the European Common Security and Defence Policy. MPSOTC conducts a series of activities, including international courses, seminars, Mobile Training Teams, and pre-deployment trainings, always fulfilling the internationally recognized education levels defined by the UN, NATO, the EU, and the OSCE. Our aim is to remain flexible and ready to respond to the challenges of the future security environment, taking into account the multi-dimensional aspects of modern Peace Support Operations. Our main training objective is to provide the most efficient and effective academic and field training and education, with courses tailored to missions across a diverse spectrum that includes, inter alia, robust peacemaking and humanitarian operations. Additionally, MPSOTC supports the pre-deployment “mission-specific” training of national contingents and staff elements, who are assigned to participate in PSOs. We, all at MPSOTC, strive for excellence and seek continuous improvement in all that we do. The highly professional lectures, the realistic field training, along with our contemporary facilities and the appropriate support, ensure MPSOTC’s provision of certified knowledge to military personnel and civilians. At the same time, partnership, mutual understanding and cooperation among countries around the globe are enhanced through multinational training and education.
