Non habitual residence applications We can assist clients in making their application for Non Habitual Residence status. This would include not only an initial analysis of the clients circumstances and the benefits such a status may confer but also preparing and filing the actual request. We also assist the client with handling the application to become a Portuguese resident with the relevant authorities. Accounting services We prepare the accounts in accordance with Portuguese legislation. Tax representation services, advice and compliance We can act as the tax representatives for non-resident individuals who have purchased property in Portugal which includes obtaining tax numbers for them, dealing with the local property tax assessments and arranging payment of their taxes. This includes filing their income tax declarations. Value added tax representation We can act as the VAT representatives of non resident entities which are required to register in Portugal for VAT. We provide VAT reporting services for these non resident entities so that they can comply with their tax obligations. Payroll services We prepare the payrolls for resident and non-resident entities in accordance with Portuguese labour law. This service includes processing the payroll as well as providing advice on the full cost of any given salary.
