Large-scale storage of regenerative energy Hoeller Electrolyzer was founded to develop, to manufacture and to sell PEM-electrolysis-stacks which are needed by OEMs of systems that produce "green hydrogen"​, i.e. for storing regenerative energy in the form of hydrogen. PEM-electrolysis-stacks are the core component of PEM-electrolysers and power-to-gas systems and they are needed by system manufacturers and integrators to build their systems. By means of these systems hydrogen and oxygen can be obtained from regenerative energy and water. Hydrogen in turn represents stored energy which can be used for various applications, e.g. as fuel for emission-free trains, busses, trucks and passenger cars. It therefore is a matter of manufacturing the core component for large-scale storage of regenerative energy which is inevitable for the energy transition to succeed.
