We are a remote-first company that aims to empower diversity of cultures and cuisines. On our app you can buy food and get it delivered to you, just like you would on any food delivery app, but our food does not come from restaurants, it comes from home kitchens, from people that have passion for cooking but never had the courage to start a business, from people that did not have the money to start a restaurant but cook very well, from retired chefs that decided to slow down and only cook on their own schedule, and more. The food comes from normal people not from commercial kitchens. This is food made with love and using genuine ingredients just like the ones you would buy at the grocery and use to cook at home. No secret preservatives, commercial chemicals or anything like that. We promote the grandmas cooking, the housewives cooking, or whoever have real passion and cook from the heart. We have tight rules and standards for our cooks. For example, the first rule is to 'cook with love', the second is to 'cook following the highest safety and hygiene standards as per HACCP'. We carefully select the cooks and monitor their performance and their food quality, we even inspect some of their kitchens personally. But as long as their food is made with love and is safe, we welcome everybody to join us as a home cook, because it is our main goal to bring different people together via one of the few real pleasures of life: good food. With HomeMady not only you can order individual dishes just like you do on any food delivery app, but you can also order catering for parties or events, or order ready-to-eat meal prep sets. Since the home cooks on HomeMady do not have the big overheads that restaurants have, the home cooks can offer you food for a cheaper price, but also food that is cooked in the proper way using genuine ingredients and not commercialized ones or chemicals. The food can be can be delivered instantly or at an agreed date/time, or even collected.
